Asbestos-containing materials are found in industrial and commercial facilities, schools and universities, and residential properties.  Asbestos is a naturally occurring fibrous minerals  because it has a high tensile strength, the ability to be woven, and resistant to heat and  chemicals, asbestos has been used in more than 3,000 different products over the last 100 years. Today asbestos is most likely found in or on the following materials:
